Tune2air cable doesn’t work??
So, I bought a Tune2air WMA3000b into my car, it wouldn’t show the device, so I can’t see album art, or skip music on the wheel.
The car is a 2013 330d M Sport with Pronav only. And I am using an iPhone 7Plus, and using Spotify. Why doesn’t it work, when that cable is to be used with BMW/Merc etc. What other ways can I listen to Spotify, without using just the AUX cable and skipping on the phone. Many thanks Luke |

I have tune2air as well.
I don't see album art unless the music is stored on my phone from iTunes. Spotify won't show but you can skip using the buttons on the center console, unfortunately I haven't figured out a work around with the wheel. I know skips work on the e90 SW controls. EDIT: heres the FAQ page from the manufacturer. http://www.viseeo.com/ugC_Faq.asp?hidFaqCatID=7 As stated, it won't show the album art unless its from the music library ie. iTunes Music |

I tried using the USB to lighting cable on my iPhone 7, that all works fine when testing it on Apple Music.
Real shame with the Tune2air, as I thought it would work fine with Spotify, and how tracks and steering controls. But, my iDrive won’t pick it up from the USB. I guess a refund is in order. Is there any other item I can buy, or even fit to work over Bluetooth? Thanks Luke |

I am not aware of another method over BT unless you can code for A2DP or an HU upgrade. I think the tune2air will suffice until I pony up for the HU upgrade (see the Avin thread)

tune2air doesn't work with steering controls and doesn't give album art. You will only get song information and you can change tracks using the controls on your HU.
I used one for years until I upgraded to NBT.
