Have you tried calling the VPC - 800-932-0831 - or the BMW Genius Hotline -1.844.4GENIUS. The VPC was helpful and I've heard the Geniuses are really good. Just got my car yesterday and it was worth the wait!

6/23/15 VPC customer line reports they are done, and the car should be loaded onto a transporter to my dealer within 24 hours. 6/25/15 My CA emailed to say the car just arrived at the dealer that afternoon. I could have picked it up Saturday 6/27 but I was travelling so I push delivery to Monday 6/29. 6/29/15 Delivery: CA Darren Thomsen of Rallye BMW hands me the key. (I have the other key because it’s an ED car.) **** So to answer some frequently posted Timeline questions, here’s how long things took for my European Delivery car (I’m going to use a delivery date of 6/27, since the 2 extra days were my issue.) Drop off in Paris to delivery at dealer in New York - 38 days or 5.5 weeks Bremerhaven (Received at W&W terminal) to delivery– 27 days Dock in New Jersey (W&W Liner release) to delivery – 9 days |

F30 328i Msport ... on the way to Toronto
First post and new member to this forum ...
I am awaiting my new 2015 328i Msport ... it has a production date of June 9 2015 (based on VIN checker), so ... My dealer is saying that, "the current status is still marked as 95 shipped, which means that your vehicle has already left the BMW factory and on its way to Canada." Ive called BMW Canada and they do not know what 95 shipped is however looking on other threads, maybe they meant to tell me that its 195 shipped and missed the 1? I have checked the WWL site and no luck at all for my vin. Really thinking it is still waiting at port. Do all VIN's successfully get added to the WWL tracking line? I ran a few other vins from other BMW sales sites with VINs being shown and many did not come up on WWL site. So maybe Im missing something. NT19xxx is the last 7 of the vin and no dice on anything. |

I have a 2016 4 series on order. The WW website says my vehicle was booked on the Tosca as well, but the loading date was July 31st! This doesn't make sense if the Tosca already left port...
Is this just a problem with updating the tracking information. My vehicle production was complete on July 2nd (by telephone to BMW). It was awaiting release to carrier for about 3 weeks. Do you think my vehicle is really on the Tosca? Or is it on another ship that has not left port yet? |

After spending a good part of this week nerding out on the tracking data for my '16 f31 i'm fairly certain the 'date' field in the WW tracking log is the 'status date' and not the 'event date' where the 'status' seems to lag the 'event' by about 2 days. The same goes for the bmwusa 1.800 number automated vehicle status -- about a 2 day lag. If I were you I'd feel pretty confident the car is on the Tosca and don't read too much into the dates. Now just follow the ship with sailwx into the US port and add about a week for VPC processing. Which btw, per the M3/4 forums it seems the EPA holds were released a day or so ago for the '16s so seemingly no worry about additional delays at the US port. |

@keshava: The tracking info of my vehicle was also only updated to "Loaded on vessel" on WWL website 2 days after the vessel had actually already departed Bremerhaven. So I believe we are in the same situation and both of our orders are currently on TOSCA heading to us! Last edited by Mx; 08-02-2015 at 04:34 AM.. |

Thanks everyone! As you can tell, I'm looking forward to the new car. With a large family (4 kids), I've been driving around a Honda Odyssey and Buick Enclave (both of which are good cars) for a few years, but my wife and I finally decided to get a car for ourselves and just use the minivan for full-family outings.

It's been a week since my 340i finished production. My route is Bremerhaven to Hueneme near Oxnard CA.
I'll be taking delivery from East Bay BMW (excellent dealer). I did my best to look up W&W boat schedules there was one 9/5 (which I for sure missed) and 9/19 out to the west coast. If this is correct my car will wait over 2 weeks to get on a boat. Did I just get unlucky? Or is there another company that might be carrying BMWs to California?
