DVD in motion coded, but volume is low

Hello, so i've "coded" the DVD player to play in motion, but notice that the volume is either low or only sound is produced from smaller speakers only. anyone else have this issue?

'15 335i with HK upgrade, US-spec if that matters.

Possible video problem with the sound encoding?

Same here. Volume is pretty low on mine with HK - I think it's normal?

I was able to get the volume correct by changing the equalizer settings. Bad thing is I have to put the settings back if I want to listen to music.

Expect all movies/dvds to have low sound volume. It's not the vehicle, it's just how movies are produced. Just turn it up louder for movies and be sure to turn it down before switching to music.

what exactly did you change on your EQ?
