You are not alone. Couldn't live with the red accent either, chose Luxury trim instead - anthracite + aluminium, much more soothing on the eyes.

What bothers me even more is the limited exterior color choices when ticking the M sport option. Does anyone have a clue why BMW does this? I can understand if an extra color is made available (Estoril Blue, for example), but why remove some of the regular color options?

Priced the complete Anthracite trim on BMWparts and comes a little shy of $850ish. M performance CF/Alcantara trim is $650 odd.
.
Wood is more expensive in general than aluminium and cloth (although a nice one ) Anthracite was the only option on MY13 that you had to pay extra.

I like M-Sport, but I wish they went with the same metal for the dashboard. The current dash is perfectly matched cloth seats, which are not available in US. I saw a picture with cloth seats on this forum, M-Sport looks really awesome and a perfect match.

Sorry to resurrect a thread, but has anyone fitted the M Sport Carbon Fiber trim to a 4 Series? For some reason, I can't find a link anywhere to order the parts for my soon-to-be 435i despite the press releases everywhere saying that the parts were going to be for both the F30 and F32.

I kinda hate wood grain, but didn't want to wait three months for my car.

Oh, and hello everyone - first post!

Coming from the STI world I only purchased the MSport because it did not have the red stitching seats and steering wheel - I like either black stitching or white, but red is too much IMO

nope. neither do I. I think a blue strip is available, though on the M sport.

I'm going with brushed aluminum that automatically adds the black strip. Sportiest look, imo

thought about the blue stitching on black leather, but kept it simple

Love the blue accents but what annoys me is the lack of accents to tie the dash accents into the cabin if you spend LESS on Sportline you get contrast stitching in the door cards, steering wheel, center console and seats. When you spend MORE in M-Sport, you get LESS detail and bit even the OPTION for more....

is it possible to get the blue trim piece replaced with the M performance CF on only. I was thinking of taking somewhere and getting it CF coated along with the door trim piece that's like a matte plastic finish. I like CF but in small amounts and the aluminum is nice to break up the black. but blue strip on my red car just feels out of place

The restrictive choices of the line-system are my biggest woe. Bleh!

I opted for the wood in my msport. Yours looks pretty sweet! Might have to add it when my car is a couple of years old (to change it up).

This is what I got too. Burl wood, eb2, no accent strip and no contrast stitching. Tan vinyl interior too.

Hey EHDEN, did you use the 3 Series M Performance Interior carbon/alcantara trim? I called my dealership's parts guy about getting the same trim for my 435i, but he told me they don't make it for the 4 Series. Yet you have it.

Did you just retrofit the 3 Series kit or did you somehow find the 4 Series parts?

I can't find them anywhere and my car is going to have wood trim! I HATE WOOD TRIM!

I have not seen either in person and how they may play with the Coral Red interior. BMW should offer a few more choices for the sunny parts of the world where M-sport is desired with a tiny dislike of the Aluminium.
Check mine out with the coral red interior.

On my mobile, can't add a photo (or don't know how), but go to PHOTOS and you'll see the thread that says - 435i M Performance - Owners only ... For some pix

This (and the anthracite-only headliner).
