Question for the shipping experts:
Two Questions for the shipping experts on the forum:
1) I can't figure out why the Prime Ace (in Canada today) schedule shows Brunswick GA as the next port, followed by Charleston SC. Why sail right past Charleston, then turn around and go back to it? Especially if you're headed on down to the Panama Canal after that? 2) Does anyone know if PCD cars occasionally get dropped off at Brunswick GA? Assuming that is not the case, but looking for hope.

2: Sometimes the cars are dropped off in Brunswick but if your scheduled for Charleston, it'll be Charleston.

I,m not a shipping expert but I do have an inbound 340i from SA scheduled to land in Brunswick, GA. No stops in Charleston for my ship. The car will then head to the PCD in Greenville. Will pick up in late June or early July.

Back on topic, mine is scheduled to offload in Charleston. The above reply makes sense if Charleston is also an export location... |
