I have an MPE and a Fabspeed high flow cat downpipe and it sounds awesome. Actually I think it's a little too loud at times. As for Remus, I think they make quality products and I had one on my old e30 and it sounded really nice. Awe sounds awesome but to me it drones; I couldn't live with that. Either one of these exhausts paired with a downpipe is going to be loud. I think it's amusing when I hear people getting excited about aggressive burble options on flash tunes. I personally would pay for my car not to make such noises. |

The Awe I heard definitely had a drone around 2600-3000 rpm. Perhaps someone else wouldn't notice it but it was very pronounced to me. (This was axleback only). But, one mans drone is another man's, "sounds great!" I think midpipe deletes always drone. I heard one of the muffler delete set ups (it was very expensive) and I don't know how the driver could stand it, but of course he loved it! Or at least he said he did after spending all that money. |

So am still in the market and looking for my exhaust, just wondering how easy is it to put the stock exhaust back on, in case i run into warranty issues. If i cut the pipe to put remus, will i be able to put my stock one back ? Using the same clamp or something?
