Sounds like he blew a fuse or damage the o2 sensor wiring doing the downpipe install.

So you're saying there's no feature in the JB4 to remove the CEL when running a catless DP? Or is that a separate option? Because I've read a lot of posts indicating that the JB products can quash the Catless DP CEL. Just asking.
He's saying that the JB4 doesn't fake emissions. It has a feature called auto code delete which when activated automatically clears DTCs in the DME as they occur, one of the more common ones is low efficiency for catalytic converters, along with BOV plausibility, and a couple other "tuner codes" which are just the result of the JB4 tricking the DME into creating more power. They don't offer diagnostic assistance but do throw CEL/MIL's on the dash which many people find annoying, which is why many people opt to activate auto-code delete.

This has nothing to do with the JB4. Through trouble shooting with Terry at Burger and Crypto I believe we have it nailed down to a connection at the DME. I believe the company that installed the downpipe may have pulled on the o2 sensor harness to get slack for the connection on the post Catt 02 sensor and it may have caused a ground/wiring to come loose at the DME connection. The JB4 had been great for reading the code to help diagnosis.

The JB4 clears the codes when activated as that is one of the features of the JB4 with no issues. These particular codes are just not able to clear as they are constant.

Originally when I posted the codes I was not sure what was causing it.

I will keep everyone aware of the solution.

12B102- same thing but before catalyst

Any experience with this?

I have installed the following:

-Wagner downpipe and FMIC
-BMS JB4 and intake
-ER charge pipe

Thanks!!!
Hi sorry to dig up old thread but did you ever get to the bottom of this. I have the exact same codes come up today on my m135, so interested what the solution may have been.

Same issue came up today for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Car ran fine before today. Also, getting:

123002 wastegate control: short circuit to ground
12B102 Lambda probe heating before Catalyst Activation: Short Circuit to Ground

JB4 92 pump map 5, catless downpipe, burger tuning intake

I think this was a DME issue. I ended up trading the car in with the faults on a F80.

Just bring it in to the dealer. It should be covered by warranty.

An update for anyone in the future that comes across this. The problem is the power distribution module found under the cover on the passenger side by the strut tower. I got the part for 40 bucks off eBay and just swapped it in. All is working well, no codes (had 3 codes prior) and power has been restored.

Can you post the link to the part you ordered? Or a part number?

Thanks!

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I've been working through this exact issue myself.
Looks like the part number is 12637591534, and it's typically referred to as an "Integrated Supply Module".

I replaced mine which cleared the issue for about a day, but then the codes came back, so I think I have a loose wire somewhere between the DME and O2 sensors...

Mine ended up being the pre-cat o2 sensor only.

Hello - digging up an old thread here but my car is currently experiencing the same issue, not sure if I should swap on the module first or the O2 sensor, recommendations? Also, is the module just a straight swap? Does anything need to be programmed?

Lightbulb Power Distribution box (ISM) repair - no need to replace

if the issue was with the power distribution box you can just cut it open and change the fuse. see the video
