My screen won't work??

I just upgraded from my 6.5' display and got an OEM 8.8' display. but when I turned it on the right side of the screen is black I am sure I did the coding right
I did resolution to 8.8' and breites display. Did I purchase a faulty screen or am I doing something wrong?

did you use bimmercode to code in the change? if so, use esys as that generally fixes the problem.

I did use BimmerCode I set the resolution to 8.8’ and display to breites

Also what is esys? Is that an app? How do I use that

it’s a windows piece of software.

you need an enet cable & windows laptop then you connect to the car and code in the changes.

Check other settings that may be applicable:

CID_Apix_Mode = APIX1
CID_COM_Mode = MMI
CID_COLOR_DEPTH = 24bit
CID_DISPLAY_RES = 1280x480
CID_DISPLAY_SIZE = 8.8
CID_TOUCH = aktiv
CID_HMI_TOUCH = aktiv
DISPLAY_VARIANTE = breites_display
DISPLAY_SIZE_RESOLUTION = 8.8_1280x480
DIMMUNGSVARIANTE = neue_dimmung
