heated seats install
Hi everyone, I just recently got a 435i without heated seats, but I loved the red interior. I’ve seen tons of mixed info on this. The seats are memory (driver side, passenger just electric) if I can the heat elements and a new dash console for the buttons would it be plug and play more or less for an electronic/upholstery shop to do? Also if anyone knows any in the DMV area let me know. Thanks

you'd need more than the heating elements as there is another layer on top of that. I swapped M2 competition seats into F31 so had to swap out the bottom frame and replace the bottom leather so know a little info. You're also going to have add another wire if you're seats are not electric. If you search the forums there is a write up on how to do it.
Here is some pictures of the seat without the leather. the Grey layer sits on top of the electronics for the heated seats. https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...56&postcount=8 |

The seats are power with memory only on the left…my plan was to pay a shop to install the heat elements into the seats that I already have and wire from there
