Confession: Sport mode

On a run out earlier I tried to see if I could notice this 'piped in sound' the 335d has. I'm still non the wiser by the way

I was trying different settings to see if I could get it to work. Now, from day one of having my car I configured the sport mode to be chassis only just like I used to do in my 530d and then when I want the drivetrain bit I just flick the lever across to the left. I never use sport+, my driving talent (or lack of) does not permit. So in trying to get this sound thing I configured sport mode to be drivetrain and chassis - WOW

It's like a different car, I can't believe I have had it a month and didn't know I was doing it all wrong. The gear change is almost SMG like. I love it. Needless to say, the run out lasted longer than it needed to

haha good stuff. Does yours have vario steering? I think I will miss this from my 235, the extra speed of the rack really made cracking on more fun

I Know this is going to sound a bit dense, but I assume sport mode for the chassis is if you have adaptive? I don't so what does the button do for me?

Miss that sharpness from my M135i. The quicker rack really made it fun to drive around the twisties. The 335D doesn't hang about & does steer ok but it's a little like tacking a boat sometimes

No, don't think it's got that unless it's standard and I'm not aware.

I don't have adaptive. I did read on here somewhere though that late 2014 cars onwards have something suspension wise that changes when you put it in sport but all I can really tell is the steering stiffens up.
