Help... not sure what color to buy?

Hello guys I am not sure what color to buy the car I was looking at was the new F30. Between Red, Black or Mineral grey. I ask the dealer and I was told that the Red on is for girls... They told me for sure Grey or black is for guys..... I ordered the Sport line , black leather interior whit red stitching 19 inch wheels...... but now I am confused with the color.

Please help......help:

Your dealer is an idiot.

Buy the color you like and want, and do not be concerned about boy/girl colors.
What about white? I bet your dealer thinks its for hermaphrodites.

Red is for girls---then there are alot of GIRLS running around in Ferraris.

Hope they run by my house.

Get a new salesperson and get the color you like best. MG is beautiful. I would get it if my other car was not seal gray.

like one of the guys I test drove with ..I asked about the difference between M adaptive and sport line sports suspension. He said--the M adpative will only come on M sport car version when it comes out...

Really??? How come the window sticker says this car ( launch sport line) HAS IT????

He turned a lovely shade of MELBOURNE RED..

Mine is mineral grey and I'm very happy with. Had black previously and red before that. As advised above, go with what you like.

I was just testing what he knew about the car. Obviously not much. I did not ask any more questions.

I find it very unsettling how little the people "selling" these cars actually know about their product. I have met one BMW salesperson who really knew the cars well. Unfortunately, she is not around my part of town anymore.

I think red works well if you're a young man. For guys pushing 50 and up it looks like you're going through a mid-age crisis. (Save the vitriol folks...this is just one person's opinion!).

Metallic black on black is it with this car from my perspective. (Grey has a boring feel "IMHO".)

yeah, thats what i said last year when they announced the NEW colors. you can still get Space Grey on mostly all BMWs...except the F30!

they tried out something new (well first on the F20) where they mixed Graphite and Space to make Mineral Grey. too dark for my taste, so i picked the new Silver - Glacier (i have had Titanium Silver BMWs in the past, wonder if Glacier is closer to Silverstone).

My advise to you is don't listen to anyone besides yourself. You are after all going to be paying for the car so, go with what you like regardless of what anyone says, period.

Having said that, my process of choosing was going through all the colors and choosing which colors I did NOT want. So, once I knew that my choice was much smaller. Then, my second way of knocking off colors was to disregard any color if it was the same as a previous car I owned. Lastly, I like picking colors that others aren't picking so, it'll seem more original. At this point you probably have just a few colors. Make a list of the remaining colors and if you still need to ask someone, ask your wife/husband or sister/brother, they've known you long enough to know what you like. If you are married, pick a choice you can both live with (you don't want to be questioned about the color every single day)!

So, with that I wish you good luck and choose well.
