Individual Gold brown merino leather !! PICS UPDATED

I just ordered a 428i yesterday and while i was choosing the options with the seller he noticed new individual options available.... and man....

when i saw that Individual Gold brown leather with the extended trim over the dashboard, paired with brushed aluminium panels, i knew anything would be so bland compared to this !!

The lower part of the dash is contrast stitched brown while the upper part remains black ( but leather) , with the aluminium blade in between ... Jesus i came.

Here are the pics! i'm still hesitating between Alu trim or going wood...

congrats, cant wait to see the pics. The leather dash will definitely enhance the overall cabin feel and quality.

The BMW Individual Ipad App now includes the 4 series too (no iphone version I believe).

Example all black interior - to most boring, but a little better than pure black Dakota and still my favourite. You can change the leather, trim and exterior to individual options - but I think you can only configure on the luxury line example on the app.

In relation to ordering individual - can you keep the aluminum trim with the individual leather?

>Yeah no problem. However you'll have to accept the accent in black which bothers me a bit, the seller says its very easy to change afterwards and relatively cheap.

Well i admit it would probably look better with a white or black or imperial blue exterior but most of the time i wont see that combination while driving ( or staring at my car doors closed!) so i dont really care...

I dig it. Not a fan of BMW's standard browns. I like something similar to Porshe's Espresso color.

Man...I'm sorry, don't listen to me...what do I know. If you like it that's all that matters...hey there's a lot of people that say LSB is too flashy/loud or whatever, and to them I say...well then I suppose it's a good thing I used my money to buy it and not yours. Everyone has their own preferences and should spend their money on what they value. I'm sure it looks much nicer in person than in the computer generated pics...I know LSB does!

I must say i'm a bit afraid about Gold brown from what i've seen on the web.
It seems pretty much orange... I really pray it looks similar to the live pictures of the 4 series concept ( the first 2 pictures )

Pictures of Gold Brown ( Goldbraun) can look so different from one other !! Sometimes it looks like you're sitting inside a fuckin pumpkin ...

So i went back to my BMW dealer ( oh no that guy again

) and he asked BMW to ship a sample.

Meanwhile i've seen videos of Neiman Marcus individual M6 vert from 2007 and this one is Gold Brown for sure.

I finally could see a sample of Goldbraun ( Gold Brown ) at the dealer and its gorgeous !

Much more brown than orange as you can see on the first two pictures. They're taken without flash but under artificial neon lightning and the color is pretty accurate i think.

The last picture is with flash and it totally changes the color. Maybe it'll look that way under bright sun ?

Anyway i'm happy with my choice and i'll post pictures as soon as i get the car mid april.... This is goin to be two loooooong months.
