Need Some advice for street/track tires-Pirelli PZ4

Hey guys, I am looking to get a set of the new Pirelli PZ4 as a street/track set however I am unable to find any reviews on them. Looks like Tire Rack has not even reviewed them yet.

225/45/18
255/40/18

According to the product description on Tire Rack they are suppose to be much better than the older Pzero model.

Has anyone purchased these tires and tested them out with some spirited driving? I am looking for some feedback before I make a purchase for my 435i gran coupe.

Not Pirelli, yet the PS4S Mich are awesome. Had the previous P Zero and they weren't nearly as good as the old Mich PSS.

outside of Trofeo R's on some supercars i know of nobody who chooses Pirelli's for track tires. The user reviews on Tire Rack are pretty poor. If you are going to do more than a single day on track I'd look for something else.

i assume you are keeping your factory wheels?

if so, increase the front size to 245/40/18. although there will be a slight bulge. it is the max recommended size on 8" width.

continue with 255/40/18 on the 8.5" rear as it is already at the limit for an 8.5" and bulges slightly as well.

increasing the front width will reduce some of the understeer inherent with 225/255 stagger.

the lightest and best street/track tires in 18" size are michelin pilot super sport or continental extreme contact sport.
