F30 340i Trunk Alignment?

Hey everyone! Just wondering how easy it would be to align the trunk on my 340i. I've noticed this a few days after getting the car and it's been bugging me ever since. I really don't want to take it into the dealer and have them futz around with it for something that is probably super simple. But if it's more complex then that, then I will take it in.

Here are some pics to show you what I mean. The right side of the trunk is recessed into the body too much. It needs to be spaced out a bit.

Here is the left side for comparison, which is perfect.

The corner looks like it's bowed in.

mtx450 it kinda looks like that portion/corner is bent down because the remaining gap line looks good. Maybe have your dealer pull on that corner a bit? Don't see how else you'd fix it...

Yeah, I sort of gave up on it. I've actually seen a few other 3 series with the same thing, so I guess the Munich QA department isn't that strict. Some have it and some don't.

If you had good experience with the dealer fixing other stuff just take it in it's an easy fix. I had my passenger door with a similar issue where it sat slightly lower than the rear door on the same side and took it in, they did a great job aligned it perfectly and didn't mess anything else up, trust me I know how you feel every time I washed my car I would see it more and more and it was driving me crazy I'm glad I got it fixed, good luck!
