Side splitter thickness, what looks best?
I am going to make a set of side splitters for our 435 M-Sport but having a hard time determining what the best thickness would be. Obviously don't want them so thin that they would crack or break, but I've seen some that look clunky. Anyone out there that have side splitters than can measure and post pictures?

Fab a set that looks just like the side splitters available from BMW for the F30 and you have your first customer.
I've been looking for a set of splitters since I joined. No one with side splitters on an F32 can give me straight answers since no one did the work themselves. |

If I could find a decent profile picture (front the end, not the side) I think I could figure it out. Every photo I've seen has been installed on the car and from the side so you can't tell how thick it is or if it is actually tapered slightly at the edge.

Can someone with the factory F30 side splitters measure how thick they are at the outer edge? Trying to figure out if 5/16" is thick enough before I buy the materials.
