Now I know I really don't want one. M2 would probably suit driving on roads a lot better.

They do look nice but doubtless not exploitable to their full potential on the road as per the m3 cp thread so maybe a na engine still suits them better?

My 340 is running approx 380bhp and just over 400lb torque now and there are not that many chances to really boot it all the way to the red line, especually now the wetter weather is here. The m 3 and 4 would only be worse as they are lighter and have more bhp (as they should!) so can only imagine daily driving one. I would say it would be like driving my old tvr where you had to really think before mashing the throttle.

Bring back a nice na v8 add(switchoffable) things like cylinder deactivation, coasting etc to help headline mpg...

Yep it's definitely felt confident in the rain and soaked track.

Ah fond memories of the old girl. She indirectly has cost me a LOT of money

Decent set of coilovers and the M3/4 are pussycats.
