go to www.leaseguide.com and use the lease calculator to verify your numbers, if it doesn't come up with the same payment there...you know something's not right

good luck!

Why go 39 months? The sweet spot for residual on BMW's is 36 months. The money factor also seems high. How's your credit?

Bmw NA has been promoting 39 month leases in their promos. We actually got a better rate on 39 months than 36 months. They threw in the last 3 months at no extra charge . If you check their web site for lease offers the prominent time period is 39 months.
Truthfully I wonder why?

Unless BMW really jacked up their money factor; then what dealer quoted you is their fluff. Going from a 3% to a 4% (money factor=percentage) adds $40 month. It's typical for most dealers to do this as most customers aren't aware of the money factor. I would search around for the current money factor. Interesting that 39 months is the new sweet spot for leasing.
I have an excel spreadsheet made for figuring out leasing I can email you if you want to PM me your email.

They jacked up your money factor and acquisition fee. You should also be able to get a bigger discount on the car price.

Maybe they plan on having intentionally poor incentive programs around the time that all these 39 month leases end....

Did I just start a conspiracy?

39 months is the new "sweet spot" du jour. BMW Finance is constantly forecasting for the future to determine how many vehicles they will have off-lease at any time. Longer lease periods tend to indicate that BMW Finance believes that they will have more vehicles in the short-term, thus they want to place incentives on long-term leases in order to avoid having too much inventory in the short-term.

price wise we agreed on $250 over invoice minus the current incentive .
I had a leather dash and have been waiting ....just cancelled my order and looking a leasing without the dash .

So the discount should be larger than the $4000 ....more like $5000

unless you know where I can get it lower

Because it's winter. They'd rather you return it in the spring, easier to sell then. Not as many people shop for cars during the winter because it's cold (obviously) and for most of winter, people are still recouping from holiday spending.

MF is high. Should be .0013 with your credit rating.

It would only change the residual. They are ripping you off on the MF.

The interest rate = MF x 2400

Base BMW MF is .0013 right now (unless doing european delivery). Everything else is profit they are tucking in there.

For a good deal, your monthly lease payment should be close to 1% of the car's MSRP with $0 due at signing. For example, I'm leasing a $60k 335i for 12k miles with $0 due at signing except for 7 MSDs at $600/month including tax.

If the engine concerns you, just add the MPPk and you have more horsepower instantly.
