Boot Locking

When you open the boot / trunk with the key fob button you have to manually lock the car again. On my old car when the boot / trunk was opened via the key fob it locked when shut.

Is it possible to code this on my F30?

Should be possible. What's the point otherwise. That's how it is on Audi at least - the trunk button on the fob unlocks the trunk only and it automatically locks again once closed. No other doors are unlocked in the process. The whole point is to have to press a button once only.

On the F36 the boot is electric, so there are 2 buttons on it - one just closes it, the other locks it together with all other doors (requires key fob in the vicinity).

Exactly makes it easier. I had a Skoda before and that's how it was on there

My trunk opens and closes independently of the car locking when using the fob. I didn't code it so, that's how it came from the factory.

I can't help. All I know is that whether I open or close the trunk the doors are unaffected, they remain either locked or unlocked. If there is a way to code it differently it would be in the coding database. Look it up.

I would like to know if this is also possible by coding. It's annoying when you just wanna open the trunk without having to lock the doors again?

Thats great, so the car re-locks it self?

Please could you send some photos of the NBT settings over?
