Maybe next time I'll just buy a 320i and after about 20 years it'll have all the things a fully loaded 340i would have at a fraction of the cost! I bet you're a blast at car events...and just overall in general.
Maybe different of prospective I use my car as a daily driver not to be a show off, nav feature will directly affect me not my passenger, not the car next to me, and not a person standing outside my vehicle in a parking lot.

When I purchase my vehicle it was simple due to best value per buck I was looking to dump my 13 328i xdrive and get either a Mustang gt, hyundai gensis coupe, wrx, or camero.

Yeah, diner and restaurants are easily in the high 10,000 within a two hour drive.

I'm assuming you didn't buy a CPO executive model, like he did though....

Its not hard, it is a completely different process, but not hard.

Because it's asinine. You want to buy a $50k luxury vehicle, wait 5 years, then try to add $10k worth of electronics and add ons from a junk yard? You're both insane

lol I don't wait, never have. My car is heavily modded and I still have a year and a half of warranty left. Haven't added anything from the junk yard though, never looked into it.

Loaded 2015 335i (MSRP was over $60k), $530/month (plus tax), ZERO down

So you're saying it's economically viable to buy a base car model then scourge the junkyards for upgraded radios, navigation systems, HUDs, backup cameras, etc? And you're saying the average car enthusiast can easily install all these in their $40-50k luxury cars with no issues?

I would like to apologize to Herakles for derailing his whole topic, as other user said no it doesn't make sense paying that monthly bill, with that level of a down payment, on a lease vehical.

Guys jag scored a great deal and if wants to tinker and add features over time more power to him. That's a great way to get into a b58 on a budget.

At the same time jag you seem to have found a unique deal and you shouldn't pass that off as typical. Most won't have that option, there just aren't that many deals like that out there. Plus, it's true that it won't make sense for most 340i buyers to go rooting through junk yards on weekends, the time/money calc just won't add up. But that doesn't make them bad people or any less of car enthusiasts. Just at a different spot in life.

I am taking order on a 2016 340i xDrive with M-sport, technology, drive assistance, cold weather, and black kidney grilles, MSRP $58,125. I was able to secure a selling price of $52,756.25 (approx 9% off). I rolled everything into the monthly with the exception of DMV. I'm paying $627/mo with nothing down.

IMO, BMW has one of the best programs out there, with respect to residual values.

Hope that helps!

I agree. I would never have the time to look through junkyards and piece together my vehicle. It's more economical for me to just get all the goodies rolled into my payment. Residual is slightly higher and I keep risk low. And to be frank, I do get a car to "show off". It's a status symbol and I would be dishonest to say otherwise.

What's the average down payment, Monthly payment, for a 2016 F30 340i. Not all wheel drive. Please share if you leased, or financed. I'm looking at a 2016 F30 340i with msport, heated seats, and lighting package. Thanks.
