6 speed manual have 8650 miles so far overall 21.2 mpg (this includes 3 track days and 1 auto cross) but lately i'm averaging about 19.3 mpg because i moved really close to work so my daily commute is much shorter and i'm not getting on the freeway everyday anymore

Started a new job 3 weeks ago... my gas mileage has gone to absolute SHIT! Oh my gawd. Not exactly City driving, but a pretty short 20 minute commute with decent stop and go stuff. I usually average 430 miles per tank. I finished this week at 340 before needing to fill up again! I went from 27+ MPG to like 21mpg. I'm crying inside.

2014 328xi and I have been averaging 24.8mpg. Mostly driven in comfort mode, some sport, and I drive 60% highway and 40% city. And my highway driving stays very spirited. Lol

2016 328d Xdrive 14K miles
80% highway (152 mile round trip commute M-F) 20% City Cruising 80mph on highway, and aggressive in the city. I spend about 70% of the time on eco pro, 20% on comfort, and the other 10% on sport. I prefer comfort mode for aggressive driving personally. I like the torque curve there on the paddles vs in sport mode. With the exception of how fast the shifting is in sport. I don't baby it, with plenty of zippy launches (ya gotta get out in front of the crowd!! ), and a few races. I'm averaging (calculated) 39.4 mpg over many tanks of fuel. Which is funny because the lie-o-meter tells me I'm averaging 37.5 to 37.8 typically. I've owned the car for about a month now. I've put 4K miles on it. Tracked my fuel since day 1 in "fuel log" app. Worst tracked economy was 36.4, best so far has been 40.1. This week for some reason, I've seen my lie-o-meter go up and it's been averaging 40.5. I will have to fill up today, so I'm curious what actual will be for this tank. I'm purchasing a chip today, and that "claims" a 15% increase in economy. Should put me at 45-46 mpg. We shall see........ lol.

Just returned from Southern Calif to BC, and did 7.8L/100kms or 36 MPG (Imperial). I did not go light on the gas on the Interstates.....
I am pleased with that given the power and ride of the car.

2014 335i M Sport. 10200 miles.
I average around 21-23 MPG per tank. Give or take 320 + or - miles per tank. I only drive about 8 miles round trip for my commute so no freeway and all 25 mph roads. Also drove almost exclusively in ECO |

Are any of you using ASS? No pun intended. Surprising there isn't much difference between x28i and x40i. Maybe because the 4s are being pushed harder so overall fuel economy is the same.

LOL, pun taken anyway I do use ASS on and off myself but this winter screwed all my numbers up so I went the "lead foot" route, which got me down to 21. On my way back up since it's getting warmer and have noticed ASS makes about a 2mpg difference in my case.
