^ ^ I agree! Please consider the above, I thought the run flats were good but the difference is so vast it's quite amazing, lots of threads to read on this subject so I wont bore you. I sold my old tyres for £200 so the replacement would be around £400 for the superb MSSs.

Beautiful car, the best engine choice too! I've had my 330d F31 for almost a year and I still love to drive it.

Anybody recommend an iPhone lightning cable in black, around 2m long that works properly with the iPhone 6 and usb connection in the armrest. I've tried a couple of cables that I have and they constantly flick back and forward from charging to not charging when plugged in to the car usb socket. The original iPhone 6 cable works perfectly but it's white and I want something that I can tuck in and not be too obvious when I run it to the Belkin cup holder mount.

There's something very true in that statement. I drive the M11/A14/A1(M)/M62 pretty much every week and people often react as is the car is an undercover rozzer.

I even got a tug from the police the other week around the Peterborough section by a black 330d plain car.... (fortunately I was 'only' doing 85....ish). After a mild telling off, the guy turned his attention to the car and said, "we weren't sure if you were one of us" and then "so what have you got on yours then", even complimented the coral interior

Lol yeah I get that a lot.

Driving on M6 and M6 Toll.

Admittedly there are around 8 Tourers as unmarked cars in the area.

People also see what they expect / want to see, so when they glance over at my car, they see black shirt with white writing over pocket, very short hair cut and my shades are Mil issue. End result - mobiles thrown across car, braking, even had apologies lol.

That coupled with the speed / acceleration on joining a road does make people panic lol.

They do move over quickly

Edit: to what Beancounter says, had that a few times having coffee in service station, parked up and chatting to local traffic etc. a number do want to have the 335d as standard police car rather than the 330d.

I've got a black StarTech one in mine 3m long, works brilliantly, and is Apple approved.

Run it out of the glovebox and along under the tunnel and out by the cupholders where I have a cupholder mount for the phone.

How you finding the quality? The last non Apple lead I bought lasted about a month before it stopped working (that was an eBay item though!)

This arrived today thanks to Josh. I'm going to wait until I find a genuine rear diffuser and possibly side sills then get them sprayed and fitted all at once.

I'm not going to bother with the decals as I'm not sure if I could live with them long term!

@wezzie

These are the fog light bulbs :
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...obalID=EBAY-GB

MTEC H8 12v 35w Cosmos Blue Xenon Effect Upgrade Bulbs

Here is a guide how to do the fog lights:
DIY: Replacing Fog light bulbs (5 minutes) http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=871554

And these are the indicator bulbs:
http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/581...tor-bulbs.html

There is a bit in the hand book about the indicators, basically there is a panel at the top of the arch liner you clip off and reach in.

Delivery on both sets was really quick and it only takes about 15 minutes in total to fit them all.

Just bought a genuine M Performance rear diffuser from a fellow member. I'm undecided as to whether to leave it in the standard matte finish or do the sides estoril and the centre gloss/matte black. I have the front splitter here too, I am thinking uprights estoril and the lower splitter part gloss/matte black.

What are people's opinions on an estoril blue car for both parts?

I think the diffuser is best not 2 tone. So either leave matte or paint the whole thing gloss black.

I left matte, and for the front just the winglets body colour looks best imho

Yeah I think that is the way to go, I was just worried about the matte looking a bit out of place with the gloss black grills and pillars.
