One listing mentioned having to use a silicone adhesive that wasn't included. Any idea what brand? Is it stuck only to the glass? Wouldnt want to risk vehicle damage.
Bumpety bump.
I guess nobody here has ordered the roof spoiler?

Couple crappy phone pics of the matt black one they did for me. Very happy with the results! Well worth it.

Others have commented in this thread that they had no issues. One even ran it through a car wash with the rotating brushes (not that I would recommend that).
Personally I'm still waiting for someone to comment on the roof spoiler combo before I even order mine.

Thanks! I think it will tie together nicely once I get the matching splitter and diffusers.

I just received my Mineral Gray spoiler from emotors, only six days after ordering! I installed it in minutes during lunch and it looks great. The only tricky part was getting the tape on properly and lining up the spoiler on the trunk. Although I did it alone, it would probably be best to have someone help you. Mine is probably off 1/8'" or so, but no one will ever notice. I'm very impressed with the quality, appearance and (especially!) the speed of delivery. I'm still shocked it was only $88.00 including shipping. Amazing!

Nobody answered my earlier questions so I just pulled the trigger and ordered both the roof and trunk spoilers from emotors2000 in Alpine White to match the rest of the car.
Now waiting for them to arrive. We'll see how they come out and I'll post pics when installed.

Got mine from Carbon King on ebay. Shipped promptly after I gave the paint code I wanted and arrived within a week to my APO here in Germany. 3M tape, cleaner, accelerator kit and instructions came with the painted part. Went on the car looking very nice with an excellent fit.

Wow, ordered mine on 9/3 and got here today 9/6. Crazy from Taiwan. I have not open it yet... kinda keeping it down low from the wife. :-)

.... errr, just opened it this morning and its damaged. Hopefully they will deal with issue.

My combined shipped roof spoiler and trunk spoiler arrived (seller emotors2000).
There is indeed a shade variation in the Alpine White 300 (just like their auction says), but not too serious, especially when the surfaces are in a different plane than the car (there will always be shadows).
Installed both tonight. Pics are attached, but sorry they are at night and from my cell. I will post better quality daytime pics if anyone is interested...

They have a disclaimer about red and white being a little off. White is typically the hardest to match anyway.
Here is a pic in overcast.

Sorry pic didn't come out (on my phone now). Will post later.

EDIT: Here it is. The shade variation is actually less noticable on a sunny day.

So this spoiler is just held by double sided tape? How effective will this be in the long run? I thought BMW noted on their website that you should pair this with the front splitter, so is this splitter not necessary?

The answer to that question is pretty easy, wait until you install yours and accidentally let it rest on part of the trunk before you actually have it 100% lined up and try to pull it up to re align it. That will quickly convince you that the tape is fairly permanent and never a worry about it coming lose.

Since we arent doing any racing in these, technically the rear spoiler for downforce on the rear and front splitter for downforce on the front, arent necessary, just for looks. So if you like the look of the splitter, knock yourself out but certainly isnt necessary just because you have the rear spoiler.

Oh I see! So it's similar to cars and their side molding! This is something to consider...

Thank you pkancel

So like I said the first spoiler was damaged but today I received the replacement from emotors. A person named Kelly Lee helped me throughout the process. I installed it right away and took me a good 20 minutes. It really aligns well with the trunk and I picked the jet black because it was only $88 and to match the black accent throughout the car plus avoiding color match issues.

Has anyone ordered this product in India? I've got an Alpine White 320D & would like to get this spoiler. Wanted to know if anyone has any buying experience. Taxes & Customs duty if any.
