Does my car have a dealer installed M package?

Hello, my first thread here. Just purchased a new to me 2013 335i. Trying to change my driver side rocker panel because it's cracked. However when I called my local dealer and gave them the vin the M rocker panel part number did not match to what was for the car, I tried calling San diago BMW where the car was purchased but to no avail. I know the car has some cool options but was thinking I had a M package. Also on the rocker panels there is a black flat plastic piece to the bottom is that aftermarket or offered by BMW? Thanks guys. Here is my VIN WBA3A9C58DF078015

Use this to see how the car was equipped from the factory:

I checked on there And it showed a sport package but did not say M package. Has anybody had a M package installed at dealer? I wonder if that will show up on the vin check

You car looks like an m-sport, the obvious telltale is the front spoiler. Your rocker panel should be a standard m-sport part. The lower black plastic piece is an optional m-performance "blade"; you can find pictures if you use those keywords to search.

My car is also an m-sport. You can compare pics to verify it looks like yours:

Thanks for the replies fellas I will take some more pics of the car. It's parked at a buddy's house. The steering wheel doesent look like the round M wheel. It's triangular and has the red stitching with the grip being fairly thick. Glad to join the community and glad I found a car with the 6 speed manual. Going to try and call the dealer again on Monday to find out more info but at this point knowing that it's a M side skirt I can order that part.

The original buyer may have changed the wheels, as the M Sport package I do not think is ever offered with 397 wheels.

It looks like you have fog lights? I don't think M- Sport came with those because of extra cooling. Do you have the M footrest and steering wheel?

If you have the big triangular steering wheel then your car is probably a modified sportline rather than an m-sport. The good news is that somebody who would go to such lengths probably was an enthusiast who was fanatical about taking care of his car.

I meant the 2013 335i M-sport did not have fogs in US.

Black headliner?
M badge on steering wheel?
M badge on door sills?

**correct me if I'm wrong but only the MSport comes with the black headliner - this would be the single most difficult item to replicate after the fact**

Yup they were added in LCI (2016?) depending on the option configuration.

Your car is a Sport Line, the M Sport bumpers were added later.
Here is what your car looked like from the factory.

MSport can't be installed by the port/dealer. It contains some things (as noted: headliner, stitching on seats, etc.) that have to be installed at the factory as the car is built.
