Congrats on the new ride!
Looks great and I'm with you on that *ugly* gear selector. BMW has had that style now for a number of years and yet the look/design hasn't grown on me... And, if that's the only thing you and I don't like about the car, that's GREAT! Cheers, -Tony

Nice color! Almost looks like my Deep Sea Blue Metallic but Tanzanite is much brighter!
Isn't that the same stock non-sport DCT shifter as the F30 320dyou just had? I wonder why the put tailpipes on electric cars? Is this full electric or hybrid? Also why do you want to remove the eDrive logos? Are you ashamed of being responsible and driving an environmentally friendly car?

Hello there fellow Belgian.
I seriously doubted about buying one of those too, but as there was no Touring , it was no option for us, sadly. What is the law you are speaking about, because I do not know of any law concerning the logos. I really love your colour combination. Great choice, and I wish you a lot of driving pleasure in our anti-carlover country |

I will check what exactly says the law, but I think a logo indicating that the vehicle is hybrid is mandatory near to the "fuel hatch" ( I don't know the real english name ).
I'm not ashamed about riding in an hybrid sport car, on the contrary. I want to remove the logos for aesthetic aspect only but moving them on the rear windows is a great idea. On my previous 320d, I had the sport gear shifter - a bit smaller and without the cheap plastic part at the rear of the selector- the feeling in hand was better. After 600 km ( ~380 miles ), I finally tested the "sport" mode and the car was completely different ( not only the gear box, but the engine seems "unbridled" ). Unfortunately the battery was almost empty so I need to check again thursday in order to have a correct opinion to share with all of you. |

Absolutely beautiful car with great option and color choices. I like how BMW is offering extended trim options on the dash and textured leather on the door panels. Very vintage and cool.
My question is this: what in the hell would happen if you removed those eDrive badges? Just get rid of them, what could possibly be the consequence? I Hope you enjoy your nice new ride regardless of what badge is on it.

Very nice exterior/interior combo!
I also am from Belgium, and I'm wondering if you had to pay more for the Amaro interior compared with f.e. Opal white. Opal white is selectable in the configurator as Individual interior, Amaro isn't. Thnx in advance. Really great car btw |
