M-Sport Colour Options in Canada

Universally agreed upon, and repeatedly reminded in person, the sales people are fairly ignorant on things... so I turn to you...

I'm trying to find out what colour options are available for the Canadian M-Sports. I have my hands on the 2013 3-Series pricing pdf and another hardcopy ordering doc, and it seems that if you order ZWR ( M-Sport for 335i ) the following colours are available to you:
  • X02 Citrin Black Metallic - requires ordering Z9A or ZWR
  • X04 Moonstone Metallic - requires ordering Z9A or ZWR
  • X10 Tanzanite Blue Metallic - requires ordering Z9A or ZWR
  • X12 Smoked Topaz Metallic - requires ordering Z9A or ZWR

Z9A is BMW Individual Collection

Can anyone confirm this? Am I reading it right? I did a search and found in Sweeden they do have access to similar colours for M-Sport. Does anyone have real pictures of the F30 with these colours? By real pictures, I mean non-configurator pictures and non-photoshopped/"I played with the colour histogram because I think its cool" pictures :-P.

What other "standard" colours are available? Yes,I know EBII. What else?

I also see that interior is either red or black Dakota. But what is this "Center Panel with Spider in Chrome Pearl Grey"????

TIA.

The colours are available for M Sport when you pay $3,900 for the Individual Package.

You are totally correct -- ordering individual colors has been thoroughly discussed elsewhere in the forum. In Canada, on the 335i xDrive M-Sport, you can order any of the four individual colors shown in the configurator (including Tanzanite Blue) for $800. You do not have to order the complete "BMW Individual Package" to just get one of these four colors.

In North america, all of the above is only true for Canada, not for the US yet (other countries of the world have their own unique programs). Also, the bmw.ca configurator does not allow this choice for all models. My dealer still refers to these colors as "Priority One" rather than "individual", and says this option is probably coming to the US later this year.

Seagull, sorry if I misinformed you about needing to order complete Z9A Individual. If these X colours can be ordered for only $800 it seems that if you order the full Z9A Individual package you are paying $3100 for the different interior trim options. After further looking at the 2013 CDN price guide it does say Z9A or ZWR (ZWK) M Sport to get X colours. thanks to jtuds and okolisr for clearing it up

It actually is true. go to BMW.ca and configure a 335i M sport. Add Tanzanite Blue and see if it makes you add Individual Package, then some back here and tell us what happened.

Or just read this post:

Hey,

Thanks everyone! I have an apt to speak to a different sales guy in about 1.5 weeks from now. I'll ask this specifically and see what he can do on the system.

While EBII is a unique and great colour, I am on the fence to go sporty vs luxury in terms of colour. The regular colours make the car seem... regular so these from the individual list might help to provide a unique "luxury" exterior.

Thanks again all.

Get a custom color. BMW paint tech now allows just about anything.

BMW has some fantastic colors in the catalog that you never see anymore.

Interlagos Blue was a fantastic color back a few years ago.
