As I typed that, I realised that the quotes you used probably mean free on all models, so I have maybe answered my own question. But blundering on with the post regardless...
You have, indeed, answered your own question

It's still a great colour though and looks really good on the 4 series.

Maybe next time..........

Thanks guys for the nice comments.

This car just feels like the perfect mix of looks, practicality, luxury and performance all rolled into one.

You summed it up in that one sentence

For the size of our roads and parking spaces, I agree that it's the perfect mix.

+1 sometimes can't make my mind up about white but I have to agree that looks awesome. I think the subtle mods at the back work really well and provide a nice contrast.

On the subject of white, is there a big difference between alpine white and standard white?

You've beat me today in the collection thread with pictures. Looked a lovely day in West Sussex!

AW looking very well, and any resistance I had against MP bits is fading fast. Have asked the dealer for a price on a spoiler, diffuser and sills.

Enjoy!

That mid range on the 440i engine is something else.

Just in comfort mode today I gave it some beans upto 5k through the gears on a nice long empty slip road and it felt jaw droppingly fast.

The engine feels much smoother than my M135i and the auto gear changes feel much slicker and almost seamless. From cold the car feels noticably better also with zero jerkiness. I'm also not missing the fake noise from the M135i although I may go MPE back box version at some point in the future.

I think the new B58 engine is a superb and will serve BMW very well for many years to come.

I'm paranoid about the 19" diamond cut wheels though getting curbed though. With the standard wheels on the M135i there was always the luxury of a simple mobile refurb for any mishaps.

The new idrive is taking some getting used to after experiencing the previous version for the last few years. It's good though and an improvement and the graphics are nice. Although the Spotify and Apple Music app crashes on the idrive if switching between the two I've found just like it did on the previous version. I need to unplug and reconnect my iPod when this happens. Apple Music works better so sticking with this now.
