The center console is shaped kinda like an old Honda Civic.. Eh. Hope that;s not the final shape.

The side profile is sick! It is a fantastic evolution of the E90. You can see a lot of resemblance between the 2. I love how they have shortened the overhangs, and I love how the nose slopes downwards. I really think this car is going to be the best looking car in BMW's portfolio.

Head lights look closer to the shape of the f10
It looks like e90 refreshed… interior is similar but tweaked. I think the window buttons are closer! lol

I don't think I want a new 3 to be my next, but i'd be happy to see this improved.. i'm ready to graduate to a 5 an M or maybe even next brand with 4doors and great engine (i know… good luck.. depending on price range)

lol i'm a victim…smh

I think the current Z4 has something to say about that! Beautiful looking car...

Happy to be wrong though!

love the profile and the rear three quarter shot. very sleek and e92-ish which is great for a sedan.

looks like it will be my 4th bimmer...

Is it just me or does it resemble the new A4. Brakes on the 335 looks to get 4 pistons up front and looks to be somewhat larger than the current e90. Like most ppl say here, nice exterior(hope they use more aluminum) but auto stick and navi looks put of place in a small car like the f30. This little things shouldnt be introduce since its bmw most popular car and its bread

My sentiment exactly! Looks like the Civics from the mid 90's. The folks designing the center stack have struck out yet again. Too bad they didn't take the new 5 series interior and plop it in the 3.

Is that a manual parking brake that I see there? The Audi A4 and the F10 both now have an electronic parking brake. I would have thought they would have brought that to the 3. (From the pics of the new 1 series, those will still have the manual parking brake.)

Same thought came to my mind (i.e. it's similar to the Civic), but I see nothing wrong with that and always thought that the Civic's interior (ergonomics-wise) was one of the best. The E46 took it a notch higher. But the E90 just blew the whole thing down.

I think they should just replace the whole interior console with an ipod touch.

Just kidding.

Totally agree...same reason why Audi doesn't excite me. That and the numb steering and stodgy shifting. I'm desperate for a new car and now I have to wait 8 months and hope BMW doesn't screw it up. (Like they did, e.g. when they were de-contenting the E9x).

yeah, I can see it know - the new Audi A4, now equipped with iPod Touch central console

well, I did drive quite a few Audis (never owned one) and I can't say that the steering is bad, it's just miles away from BMWs precise and fluid type of steering... I had an offer to get a fully loaded A4 a few months back for very little cash (2.0 TDI, 170HP, DSG, S-Line, the whole shebang) but I just couldn't see myself driving it, after all I am a part of this BMW fan club

I just hope the F30 doesn't get that type of stand alone displays as in the new 1-series... as it currently is in the E9x and the F10 is just perfect by my standards...

They day is coming when there's just an IPAD docking station.

WHY BMW?!

Why are they still f***ing around with turn of the centry old halogen bulbs?!

Xenon needs to be standard with LED as the up-option.

Well, I am not going to make any decisions based on these photos, and no doubt the "real thing" will have a considerably different interior; however, so far, I am not juiced by the F30, and at this point, see little reason to buy one over my E90/N52.
