MG paint stick
I picked a mg paint stick from bmw the other day to touch up a very small chip on a handle. Tried a bit today and it made it worse as it was so much darker than the current paint.
I know the paint on mine is a year and a bit old and treated with various things but I rubbed it off in the end as it looked terrible. Has anyone else found this? |

You need to use a blending solution with a cheese cloth to achieve the desired match. Once it matches add lacquer when paint is dry. Allow lacquer to dry. Then polish.

You can shake the hell out of the MG touch up and it will still be too dark
