USB in glovebox
What option has the USB input in the glovebox?
Got my f30 a week ago and each evening I've been sitting in the garage, manual in hand and trying everything out. My 328 (no line) has no USB input for uploads. Thanks Stan |

USB Glove box input
Sorry. Guess I wasn't clear with my question. My f30 has a plastic plug where the USB input is supposed to (according to the manual) in the glove box. I popped out the plug and thee is a square hole. No USB input.
Is the USB input only present with a specific option? Which one? Thanks Stan |

The one in the glovebox does that too? I thought it was for the profiles only and that the one in the center console was for the music

E90Fleet is right. You upload music to the hard drive using the USB in the glove box, even though you play music over the car speakers from an external device using the USB in the centre console.
