Frustration
I try to be thankful for my ability to have such a nice car, but I have become really frustrated with my car and the number of problems it has had in under a year. Anyone else's dash sound like a bag of potato chips being stepped on all the time? It drives me crazy and every time I bring it to the dealership. They "fix it" but I go in after and nothing is done. No foam, no felt, nothing. It's driving me nuts.

Someone needs to look up and see if there is a thread on how to remove the trim. Mine does the same thing. I brought it to dealer, all they did was put some felt. It is going to need something stronger like Dynamat....

I really haven't noticed any bad noises yet while driving (knock on wood) but as i was wiping down the rear view mirror today the whole assembly was creaking pretty badly. not a good sign.

I have only heard dash rattles in '12s so far. I think they are doing something different in terms of assembly now, it's what's called a running change.

I am not quite sure, but the Germans don't seem to complain as much about rattles from their F30s. It's probably because they have excellent roads and we do not.
The roads (if you can call them that) in the UK are going from bad to worse. Every day, on my daily route, a new ditch emerges and it gets bigger and bigger as the week progresses. It is one of the reasons I stuck with 18" rims. We've probably got the worst roads in Western Europe. We are the United Kingdom of Potholes.

Really? Never. Let the UK be No1 at something, please.
Norway is so rich with all that oil. Probably not used to all that money from their oil reserves. Norway was a poor country until recently compared to Sweden which did not suffer during WW2. Takes a long time to recover. Norway is gradually learning how and where to spend it. I admire their carefulness. I really like Scandinavians very much. Very sensible people.
