i agree anyway. i'd never get a soft top.
me too - soft tops not only look worse when closed, they handle worse too.

Hard top > soft top

Who's the idiot that made that decision?

I would probably never buy a cabriolet but I'm glad BMW is sticking with a hardtop rather than the cloth top. Disappointed that they stuck a soft top on the 6-Series. While it would've added more weight, I hardly doubt the target market for it would care much.
When I went to the launch of the F12, the BMW product specialist said that market research determined that the public thought the soft top was "sexier" and more convertible like. I have owned an E46 M3 cab and an E93 M3 and see very little difference in function and noise isolation. It certainly wouldn't be a deciding factor for me.

Hard Top for sure! I like the idea of having two cars in one - Convertible and Coupe!

I've still never seen a good looking four seat convertible with a folding hardtop. I'd rather have the extra trunk space that a soft top provides too.

Since they're sticking with the folding hardtop, let's at least hope they get the window trim figured out this time and Sport and M4 models don't have chrome window trim like the E93.

It's a render from PS-Garage... but I'm assuming it's accurate based on the coupe's official release. It looks HOT!

Looks amazing. This is almost the exact setup I am eyeing. The one difference is that I am leaning towards the M-sport model, not the Sports Line illustrated in this rendering.

Good find and thanks for sharing.
