Random question about E85
I recently heard about a gas called E85, and was wondering if it is bad in anyway for my engine. F30 N55

I've been running it on my last car (mustang) and my 435i for about 2 months (E40). Which is E85 diluted with pump. I have not had any problems yet for either car. But E85 is corrosive and may cause damage in the long run, to injectors/fuel-pump etc

I'd be very wary about running E85 in any engine that was not specifically designed to take it. E85 - at least here in Australia - is 85% ethanol and 15% petrol/gasoline as opposed to the normal E10 (10% ethanol/90% petrol/gas).

you need to be tuned for it first lol.
also say goodbye to your gas mileage it will drop by 30% on e85. On the plus side you will get very quick spool up and smoother power delivery. On my GTR there was definitely a difference between E85 and 93 even on the same boost pressure .
