I have a 2012 F30 320i with a stock bumper.

i am looking to get a f80 style bumper, it has both the fog light option and non fog lights, i prefer the non fog lights look, i was wondering if i was to buy the bumper without the fog light fittings could i get my mechanic to just remove the fog lights and then fit it no problems? i was under the impression i would receive a error code on the dash and the only way to remove that is to code them out.

how do usually go about "fog light deleting"?
