Yes that sounds right if I remember correctly.... Also a good trick is to super glue the nut on to the DP before installing. It'll make more sense when you're actually doing the install.
Good tip makes sense since the OEM bolts are welded on

They do NOT furnish any bolts or nuts unfortunately. I had to scavenge for some.

When I loosened the rear bolt, it eventually just broke off.

Ya know, I'm not sure. I tried to snap a few pics while simply holding my phone out to the right on a secluded road (yada yada).

It'll show that ~350tq in several gears and several RPM's. I think that above pick might actually be in like 7th/8th at 50mph so I could get a clean pic.
In the lower gears (2nd/3rd), it doesn't always max to 350tq; sometimes 320tq if I recall. Still plenty of more power as compared to 100% stock - note I've got the DP and the M-PPK.

No bolts are provided? Which do we need to install this? Can Challenge confirm this please? I want to order, but being overseas is not as easy to find certain parts as in the US.

I got my new F30 335i m-sport last month and already installed JB4. Ordered the downpipe from Evolution Racewerk but it doesn't fit my car!!!! The diameter of the flange is too small - 10.5Ø instead of 11.8Ø - apparently BMW changed the design !?! Can you please tell me the size of the catl*** before I order.

We will be shipping them with the 2 metric stainless bolts/nuts now to make install a little easier.

Please let me know which flange you are asking about? At the turbo, or at the exhaust side? Inner diameter or outer diameter? I'm assuming the measurement you gave is in centimeters?

There's a slight difference in smell. I notice it mostly when idleing in the garage in the morning - which is pretty normal being a cold idle on a colder day.
There's nothing like dark or black smoke or anything like that. I posted a WOT vid up to 115mph right over the exhaust and you can't see anything of the sorts.

Keep in mind; I've ran catless vehicles before (and owned a racecar).

How did you clear codes or any error caused by the HFC-dp ?

Yes; MPPK still.

The 420 exhaust code is still there. I have a code puller, so I occasionally double-check to make sure there is nothing new and clear it. But I have not tried anything to remedy.

In other cars it's pretty common to try and use spacers to help the issue. But I haven't had the energy to want to crawl back underneath the car to uninstall it - then attempt a fix that might or might not work.

Wow. No shit.

U din know the sports display is actually a "throttle position" display? It will not show u ur actual horsepower and torque other than what the car thinks it is delivering at that throttle. Meaning, if u had a jb installed which supposedly give u 500 tq, ur "meter"' will still show 350ish?

Has anyone else had their CEL trip after installing the Challenge HFC DP?? Mine lit up this afternoon (approximately 100 miles after installation) and I'm not sure if it's normal for this to happen to the F30 (2013 8AT). I had it installed professionally too so I don't think it's me.. However, I am blown away by the results! The spool makes me weak at the knees and the more pronounced upshift burble makes me smile so hard every time I hear it! Thanks for a great product! Now...if we can solve this CEL problem I'd be golden! I'll reset it tomorrow and update further if it comes on.

It's definitely not terrible and I only notice it when the car is stopped. Let me get more time with it and I'll give a better analysis. I've only had it in for a day or two now lol. I would never describe the smell as terrible, though. Then again, as mikew2069 deduced, Iwe're still in our honeymoon stage!
