Interesting thread. Sorry I've been away for the weekend or I would have joined in.
Regarding the warranty we warrant our springs and any affected components for 2 years. If there is an issue on a car fitted with our components BMW will look at it and if they decide the failure is due to the modification we will pay for the repairs at the dealer, whoever fitted the part (providing they have been installed correctly of course). If the failure is just a routine parts failure then BMW will cover it. As a recent example of this we had an M5 with our springs suffer a damper leak. This was replaced under BMW warranty as the leak was clearly not caused by the springs, but if BMW had declined it due to the springs being fitted we would have covered it as it's a related component. Long story short, you're still covered. |

Fitting instructions if you fancy a crack at it yourself. Scroll to the second half for the English version:

This is quite common. Due to the increase in power and torque most of the time you won't be pushing the pedal quite as hard as on the standard car to get where you want to go. The result can be a fuel saving, depending on how lead-footed you are. We don't claim it as such because it varies from driver to driver, and of course if you use the increased power a lot this has to come from somewhere, but I hear of savings in the 2 to 7mpg range quite often. Which, of course, can offset the cost of the upgrade in part.
