Anyone running Vossen CVT's on there F30
Hi there everyone!
Im about to purchase a 2013 BMW 328i and seriously considering the Vossen CVT 20" wheels (20x9.5 front, 20x10.5 rear) Im seeing there is mixed reactions to people going that size in the rear (for various reasons) but would be curious to see if anyone has had success running the same size configuration. Would also like to know if anyone actually has Vossen CVT wheels installed currently on there F30??? Cheers Ben |

Nice, I like the contrast, are those painted calipers or M-Sport brakes?

Any detailed photos of the fitment front and rear? I would like to see how stretched 225/35 and 265/30 looks on 9" and 10.5" wide wheels and also how close the tires are to the fenders since your car is quite low. |

Edited...OK maybe you are not as I read your tire sizes.. You are running much smaller tires and stretching them pretty far. I am running 245(f) and 275(r) because I did not want to stretch my tires that far. They are just slightly stretched. |

Isn't 3 deg of negative camber a ton? What's stock, 1.5? Your tire wear is probably gonna be pretty bad...

Actually it is not. I have 7000 miles on the tires and still wearing evenly. The shop I use, which is the only certified Lambo and Ferrari service center in the midwest other than Chicago did the work and said 5+ would be where you start to see bad tire wear. I was skeptical as well, but knowing the shop and what they do I gave it a shot and so far so good and they were right. Figured if they did wear then replacing the rears is not that expensive, but luckily they are doing good. BTW it is a total 3 degrees not an additional to stock. I am not sure what stock is to be honest. I just remember the conversation because they called me first before doing it to make sure I was aware. |
