Hello,
as I'm quite new to coding, I wish to know if I can code Office options (mainly for SMS notification) on my car, which has these multimedia specs:

606 - Navigation system Business
698 - Area-Code 2 for DVD
6AL - BMW Live
6NH - Hands-free with USB interface
6UH - Traffic Information
6VB - CCC allocation
6WA - Instrument cluster, expanded equipment

Surely I have no Combox in my trunk.

If you have a 2012-2013 model, you will need 609 to enable Office/Bluetooth Audio.

If your vehicle is 2014+, you will need 6AC and 6AE (With or without Nav).

Seems like you don't have either of these so the answer would be no.

Should the dealer enable office by default? I have 609, 6AC and 6AE but I have no office option.

My car has 6AC and 6AEwith out navigation. Can i code office functions and if i can code can you tell me what to do. Also please can someone send me the latest coding options for f10 2014+.

It's only enabled if you have the 6NS option which comes in conjunction of the BMW Assist professional package which includes 6AM, 6AK, 6AR etc. Since you have a 2014 model with 6AK and 6AE, you can simply change the Bluetooth code on your FA from 6NH to 6NS and you will get office.

For 2015 models, 6NS is a stand alone option but changing 6NH to 6NS will also give you mobile office.

Looks like you're in Australia. Office isn't available in every region so you would have to VO code it by either changing the region code on your FA or finding the correct parameters to FDL code it on your HU_NBT module.

Yep, it would be the same as coding Extended Bluetooth on a 2014 model. Changing 6NH to 6NS and using that FA to code HU_NBT. I've tried this on a 2015 F32 428i and confirmed that it works.

2015 models have the Bluetooth Audio streaming but not office but it can also be enabled by changing 6NH to 6NS.

I can confirm this works on 2015 models. I performed the mod over the weekend. Changed 6NH to 6NS and then VO coded HU_NAVENTRY.

Don't mean to hijack the thread but, my car has 6NL and Extended Bluetooth seem to work and on OFFICE shows on the menu, but only address book is listed under it. What do I need to do to get SMS, etc ?

Under iDrive for both the Bluetooth Options and the Phone Options, do you have Messaging checked?

Hey those options were unchecked, and now I got the option to show. But now when I select "Messages" it tries to download text/email but come back and say no message.
I'm using a iPhone 6 with iOS 8.1.2, reading though a lots of post here I got the idea it works for iOS 6 and below wih no issues. Can it be something to do with the OS version? Also I get the idea that only new messages/emails received while connected to Blutooth in the car will be displayed in iDrive, is that correct ?

I got all working, thanks to you Shawnsheridan! In the iPhone "Show Notifications" need to be enabled under the Blutooth connection to the car and "Show On Lock Screen" under Notifications need to be enabled as well.
