Looking for BODYSHOP Recommendations, please...in SoCal
Afternoon folks,
On this lovely Friday evening, while pumping gas...a nice man in a Sequoia graciously decided to drive through my bumper. I'm entirely new to the area, and would love body shop recommendations. I'm in Loma Linda currently, but am willing to travel for excellent work from a shop that does NOT cut corners, and does a hell of a job with paint matching and blending (Alpine White). Looking for that OEM bumper, etc.. I peaked at the body shop my local dealership uses (Riverside BMW), and it seems to be a big chain...which I'm not in to. Would entirely be appreciative of your time! PS Any thoughts on depreciation? Avoided all the obvious pointers to prevent a hit against my title, but we have the same insurance company PSS I'd like to mention that the damage, while superficial, is only because of the clear bra on top of it. There is spidering, and I will likely force (kindly ask) Allstate to replace the bumper, as well as the camera, etc etc. behind the bumper. |

Spectrum Collision is very thorough in inspecting the vehicle damage. All mounting hardware behind the bumper will be also inspected for any possible damage. This also includes all sensors mounted inside the bumper.

Spectrum is good enough for most people... repairs are not invisible, though.
My #1 recommendation, and who I will undoubtedly be using should I ever be involved in any collision, is DC Autocraft in Burbank, CA.

Appreciate the input BrettKA7. I've ultimately come to the conclusion of using a CCRC, particularly the New Century BMW one. You're absolutely right though, that repairs are NOT invisible, and I have a very keen eye for this. However, in my situation, because the damage is limited to the bumper cover, and possibly a few pieces of hardware behind it, I've decided to take it to somewhere where I feel will do a better job at painting the new bumper. Figured they had supplies and OEM paint available, without having the need to match, mix, etc..

Brown brothers in Los Angeles on Robertson. They repaired some nasty rear quarter panel damage on my girlfriends Mercedes. Can’t even tell it was ever damaged. Also, because it’s right next to Beverly Hills, all you ever see inside that place are Mercedes, BMW, and Audi, so they have a lot of experience repairing German cars.
