Is there an auto zoom in/out feature on the Nav?
I have a 2015 428 and was wondering if there is an auto zoom in/out feature on the Nav when approaching turns. Right now, the zoom scaling stays at whatever setting I've kept it at (usually 400ft) and every once in a while, the split screen will show a larger static image of the turn. Is there more to it?

I have the extended electronic instrument panel below the speedo which provides similar info as well. I've experienced the HUD and it's nice. Too bad there is no auto zoom on the Nav screen.

The secondary portion of the screen in split screen mode will show an intersection view when you are approaching a turn.

Actually there is a auto-zoom, but it's hidden and only available in one map view. I think it was the north-bound map. In there, you have to zoom out all the way to the end and then it'll switch to auto.
It's not very nice though as this will just display the entire route and then slowly zooms in as you approach your destination. Nothing like the zooms you know from Tomtom or Navigon and the likes. |
