2015 335i MPPK owners!
hi guys,
I was looking at getting the MPPK for my 2015 335i, but I am getting concerned over some people have CEL issues with their MY2014 335i and MPPK. was just wondering if anyone here has a 2015 and has had the mppk for a while without any issues? Thanks! |

50K miles on my 435i with MPPK with AFE intake.. 1 CEL that I cleared which never came back. I haven't heard much about CEL's with MPPK on x35i.

None. I had it installed at the dealer right after singing the papers for it. I have had the car over a year now and 23k miles. No issues. Car runs amazing.

Picked mine up in Sept 2015 (March 2015 build) and currently have 8000 km on the car. Port installed MPK and MPE as part of the M Performance Edition.
Had a CEL in the first few weeks that turned out to be stored fault indicating a "fuel delivery failure". Fuel pump was replaced, software updated and the car has been perfect since.

Go to getbmwparts dot com and check there - it may depend on the build date of your 2015, as it did for my 2013 335i with PWG.

Hello everyone, I am new here and the proud new owner of a 2015 335i xDrive M-Sport, which came loaded with every option and had the MPPK/MPE already. I am guessing that this car is pretty unique. It was imported from Kelowna BC into Washington state. If anyone knows more about this specific car I would love to hear what you have.
I bought it last Tuesday, not 48 hours ago. The car seems to be every option possible, including the Adaptive M Suspension, M larger brake rotors and calipers, M Sport wheels, M door sills and M steering wheel and more. It also has a BMW installed M Performance Power Kit and M Performance Exhaust. It sounds like a supercar; the exhaust sounds exotic. It burbles on deceleration and makes all kinds of tantalizing noises. The throttle response is far better than a stock 335i M-sport (yes I drove one for comparison). The steering response also seems more sensitive than a stock one. I had 2 mechanics at a BMW shop who did the pre-purchase inspection test drive the car and they said it was a fantastic car. I read somewhere that the MPPK software modifies the “Sport” gauges to go up to 400hp, which mine does. Overall, this car feels and sounds like so much more car than a standard M-sport, and I am proud to have what I believe to be a pretty unique car. I haven't owned a BMW car before, so I have a lot to learn about the electronics and controls. I have owned a lot of cars in my life, including cars with so much power that they were barely able to be driven on the street. I initially expected this car to be underpowered and too plain, but it proved me wrong. I have decided that I think it is the best overall, most fun car I have ever driven daily, in my life. As an aside I do have a BMW S1000RR motorcycle which I split between trackday / racing and street use. So now I guess I have been converted to a full on BMW enthusiast. Postscript: As I said I just bought the car, so I didn't put the M badge on the back. I am assuming that the car came off the showroom floor with a 335i badge on the back and that the M badge was put on by the previous owner. I don't know if that is true, though, since the car has "M" everything and I don't know much yet about these cars. So please don't flame me for being an "M" poser. Personally I don't care because the car isn't for other people, it is loaded with "M" stuff, and it is for me not for other people. And I love it. Have 2014 435ix coupe with mppk kit and no issues for the month I have had it. The exhaust tone and sound is a little disappointing. To quiet. The throttle response is much better and the car pulls significantly harder. Very happy with the kit even though it was mighty expensive.
