I would temper your excitement. This is from someone who is shopping for an exhaust, too. The cabins are very sound insulated. Adding any new exhaust isn't going to change this car into a roaring beast.

Did the MPE on my 2013. Was port install. Soon as I got the car home, I did the golf tee mod. Sounds great 100% of the time, especially when backing off the throttle or dropping a couple of gears. Then you get the shotgun burble if you tap the throttle. New car actually coming with MPE as part of factory order. Smart use of resources. Now you don't have to toss the stock exhaust away or get the port install. Comes from Bimmer Heaven with it on the car. The only thing that still has to be done by dealer or port is the MPPK. Or at least that's the way it is for the 2015MY cars. Maybe in the future it will be a factory option like the MPE is now.

Just grabbed a 435 xi with m sport and mpe. These cars have become so staid that the mpe is probably the best add on you could go with imo that makes this car stand out the way it should. Love the crackle and the noise. It's what a bmw should sound like
