Actually it does feel rather nice to be dead stopped or barely creeping along for 10+ minutes and not use a drop of gas. When I think of the big picture, it almost seem absurd that we have to burn gas/money to either power the car when stopped or a very low rates of speed. Not getting all Prius-minded on anyone... but once you go electric, going back to 100% petrol just feels wasteful. Kind of like leaving the oven on after you're done cooking

I think if you do your best and make the deal to the bone (very close to invoice, buy rate MF, base AQ fee) you shouldn't expect too much.

To me getting a big freebie means there was fat in your deal. Maybe not but that's one impression (ie nothing is free...)

If you're buying you're 3rd M6 with Individual, ok, sure... but for a 3-series in demand, I'm feeling like my zip-nada free confirms that I made a good deal on the car. A hat and coffee thermos type cup wouldn't hurt tho.

I like the way you think! My wife was upset that my sis-in-law got a gift basket and she didn't but I told her all that meant was I negotiated a better deal. Needless to say, she was not impressed and still wanted the gift basket!

I was this >< close to ordering the ActiveHybrid3. The thought of that amazing hybrid technology combined with the 6 cylinder petrol had me really interested. It appealed to my geeky side and the petrolhead in me. Unfortunately it would have been more or less the standard car and no toys. In the end the 330d M Sport won out as that's where the offers were.

I love all the tech too, so the AH3 is a dream come true (only US F30 that got new Nav). If they offered a 330d here, I would have given that serious consideration as well.

Agreed x1000. When I get a brand new car at 15% off MSRP, I know there can't be too much margin left in there. The CA still has to get paid, after all.

It's a hybrid so not too bad. Harry can either move under his own power or I push him.

Sales guy gave me a set of keychains with his name and cell number on it.

BMW sent me a huge thick cardboard cutout of a BMW grill and a BMW card in a really nice cardboard case. I have no idea what either are/were for.

Full set of rubber BMW mats and a new key chain. I negotiated that before ordering.

Free tint, free install of msport grills, BMW floor liners for the same price I would have paid for weather tech floor liners, and BMW iPhone case.

I managed to get floor mats, servicing for 4 years (meant to only be 3 on Full Circle but they asked who I worked for and upon getting a letter from HR bumped it to 4), $280 BMW watch thrown into my boot, BMW luggage in the boot when I picked it up and a Christmas card which I thought was very nice.
