After my first 90 days I was 172lbs - shredded with a bonified 6 pack. This program is awesome. Since then I have done P90X+ and now on insanity. I am going back to P90X program next week as I found it was the best of all programs.

I highly recommend it to anyone as there is minimal equipment needed. As they say Decide, Commit, Succeed.

OK off my soap box for the morning. Have a great day!
Nice! That's awesome. I haven't seen my 8 pack since 2005...too much Latin Food..LOL!

I'll be happy with a 2-pack right now...looking forward to receiving the program in 5-7 days.

Did you take any supplements? If so, which?

I have P90X and have never gotten through the full 90 days. I did maybe 12 days before I got distracted but it sure is intense. Definitely gets your energy level throughout the day up. I should get back on it and try to complete the thing. I'm in good shape now but would like to be ripped... ya know

I will definitely give this a try once I get to the states in a couple of weeks...it would help supplement my other cardio workout (Adult Soccer league)...

I'm in the middle of my 5th week and this program does indeed work and I would recommend it to anyone. I am getting my 6-pack back already, and only about 1/3 of the way through. Good stuff but it takes some real dedication with the 1-1.5 hour workouts 6-7 days a week!

I doubt that P90X is the main reason for this, but holy shit this guy's strong:

These vids are all over youtube and aren't tied with P90X. I believe they call it ghetto gym or something like that. Just vids of these guys doing insane stuff on childrens playgrounds or bus stops etc.

The day after I tried P90X, I couldn't stand up straight because my body was so sore, LOL

I gotta get back to it though, definitely will get you in shape.

yes you can replicate it
and he even shows you how to.
However you don't replicate it because you can't do a pull up, you replicate it because you just don't have the bar
It shouldn't be easier is all I'm saying

How is using a rubber band which has maybe 40lbs of resistance not going to be easier than lifting your entire body weight? The pullup is one of the best exercises one can do but, when done properly, is extremely hard for most people. Maybe I'm not following you.

The ab ripper disabled me for a whole week. I couldn't stand up straight after sitting down for a while.

Well me and my girl are gonna start the program and see how it goes. We are both already in shape though. She is just gonna do the cardio stuff and Im gonna do the whole thing. I need to buy some of those bands since I dont have a pull up bar though and dont think my doorways could handle one.

What's your definition of in shape? lol not to be rude..
IMO, being in shape is the end result of P90X

lol, well I do bjj, kick boxing, weightlifting and cardio. My girlfriend does some kickboxing and a ton of cardio stuff. So we arent fat or out of shape, but we are definately not hardcore like the p90x folks. So p90x will certainly be a challenge.

Especially the ab ripper part since I am against anything that will interefere with my guinness beer belly.

As someone else said, CrossFit>P90X.

I'd rather train for function and end up looking great, than train to look great and not have function.

Im typing this from the couch.....unable to move....after the first day doing the chest, back, and abs.

Now I need some guinness!

edit: I forgot to mention that I had to skip the pull up parts since I didnt have the equipment. Way way too many pushups though. Id much rather have weightlifting. Pushups make you work your ab muscles....my abs are fat and so I do less pushups because of my abs being tired, not because of my arms being tired.
