3m stone guard

So my dealer calls to let me know my car is in. 2013 335 xdrive. Black sapphire with black interior. I am 5 hours away and can't pick it up until next Friday.

Anyways, I am getting a few things done while it is there. ASS recoded, windows tinted etc.
The dealer calls and wants to know if I want the paint protection, interior scotchguard, tire insurance, and 3m stoneguard.

My opinion; (REMEMBER THESES PRICES ARE IN CANADA, SO DON'T MY US FRIENDS)

paint protection - no, I can wax it myself

interior scotchguard - no thanks, not for $600

tire / wheel insurance - thinking about it $1295 for 4 years

3m stoneguard - 8mil (.008") covers bumper/hood/mirrors/fenders? for $1195!!!. Doing some research it appears that the product is actually good. But it seems I can get this done for $700-$800 at the actual place that BMW uses.

So my question is, 1) is the stoneguard a good idea 2) for my Canadian friends, what is a good price for the product?

I recommend the 3m especially for the Canadian winters as it helps protect it from chips ,etc. I've had it on 2 cars and it works well. About $800 sounds right full front bumper, 1/3 hood, 1/3 fenders, headlights and mirrors although $1000 + is usually the dealer price

$299 for fender and hood. $69 for lights here in LA.

Edit: and it does work well. Have a slight nick on my last M3's trip. Xpel hit and no paint damage.

Black paint and winter salt/sand sounds like a recipe for front end acne (aka: paint chips). I would go with the clear bra. You won't even see a seam if you end it at the edge separating hood from front end.
