I have the business nav but have the 8.8" upgraded screen

I used my nav for the first time the other day. I usually leave it in non split screen view

set my destination and everything worked great. except one thing.... the lady told me left and right but there was no visual aids..... now I could set split screen mode and set the second screen to arrow map (or something similar) and that worked side by side. but surely it should overlay on the nav screen of split screen isn't selected.

is this normal?

Interested in a reply to this, as I have exactly the same setup and exactly the same issue - would a map update make a difference?

I have Pro Nav. I never noticed before as I have the arrows come up in my speedo cluster. I'll check after work and see.

I'm not aware of any overlay option - I always keep mine in split mode.

Do you have full black panel display?

Just checked mine. No options for any extra arrows, it just comes up on the extended display.

Normal, arrows only appear in split screen arrow view & screen under speedo.

Soo is there a way to set nav to auto enable split screen? I don't use split screen any other time

No, but you can set split screen as a shortcut.

Mine is button 8 so I can just toggle on/off when I want it
