Just got my MPE on last week...already about 600 miles on and it sounds nice (not as nice as the PE on my E92, but really nice for a 4!). I'll work on a real video...this was just a quick snapshot.

The only thing I dont like about the MPE is how far the tips stick out. I wonder if it can be pushed back further or is the locating pin in the way?

It's really not that far out as the pic would suggest...similar to stock...actually, a bit more in. I think the slightly larger diameter of the tips make it look that way.

Here's my video, finally. I put my GoPro on the rear bumper and went for a nice spirited drive down Mt. Hamilton Road east of San Jose. Exhaust is fully broken in now and sounds great. It's not loud but definitely more aggressive. Enjoy the next 7 minutes of unedited exhaust note.

Mine was received by the dealer last Monday and I took the F31 in on Friday. It is supposed to be a 1 hour job however there was a problem with the clamping bush and the car was only ready today.
Apparently the kit they received from the factory had a 65mm clamping bush instead of the 75mm that was supposed to come with the MPE kit. Had to wait for a overnight shipment and got the car this morning. Since they were the ones that brought the car to me, I only drove it 200 meters into the garage. The sound difference for the stock exhaust is clear. I'll now let it break in and then post additional remarks. For now where is a picture: |

With one week in I've noticed that the exhaust sound is quite noticeable in the 2000 to 3000 rpm range. Normally at mid-throttle it make far much noise than the stock exhaust.
Has someone else noticed this? |

Did anyone consider Eisenmann Sport before purchasing M-Performance exhaust?
Would love to hear what they thought about it and why they chose M-Performance. |

for those who received the chrome tips, did you guys weld them or use a mallet of some sort to lock in the tips onto the exhaust pipes? judging from the pictures looks like nobody has welded

I miss my old 'M Performance' exhaust, kind of regret selling it. In it's place, I replaced with a full Supersprint system.
