In that area, I can't think of anything not to. I attached mine up top. Some choose to hide it though.

after it plugs into the TMAP sensor, just tie it to the same pipe the TMAP sensor is attached to. make sure you don't put a tie over the device itself either, just use the holes cut out for the zip ties. let us know how you like the tune!

Got it installed and secured. It's great! It's a little odd that it doesn't highlight what mode you are in/have selected through the app but I can feel the difference when I press Sport+.

In general, do you all typically drive in Comfort or Sport mode?

yah, app could be better at letting you know what mode you're in. if you hit the refresh button though, it will say +3psi for sport, +4 psi for race etc. I usually drive in comfort mode unless I'm specifically out for some backroad fun.

Last question. Sometimes I will get in the car and open the app and it will have disconnected (overnight usually). If the tuner was set to SPORT+, will it stay in SPORT+ even if it's disconnected or do I need to make sure it says its connected each time I get in the car?

Nope, it will stay in the mode it was in when the car was last shut off. The only time I open the app is to change modes, you don't have to do it every time you drive the car or anything.

I went with RaceChip, GTS Black. I like being able to use the app on my iPhone instead of opening the bonnet to make changes. I'm lazy I guess.

jeffmillerr38 How do you like the boost the Racechip GTS Black gives? Is it noticeable? Do you also have the XLR?

Sorry to revive a dead thread but do you reccomend the same Dinan for an f30 with an injen intake and cts blow off valve? They aren't major changes from the stock system but I know nothing about chips/tuning and want to try to get the best performance I can out of the car.

Yep go for it. You can stick with the Dinan sport all the way up until you change out the downpipe, if you do. In that case you'd want something a bit more advanced.
