Did a Complete Wash, Light Clay, Jet-Seal, and Topped it off with a Carnuba Wax.

Actually used everything on it, Washed with Maguiers Shampoo, light clay with lube, jet seal, and waxed.

Lol thanks Michael! I Like your name, clever!

Yeah took me quite some time, and was very tiring, but I always do a good detail in the beginning, especially the wax, to lock that new car shine in! 😄

~ i use zymol 'concours' on my cars ... at $175 a can it's expensive but a container last me about 4 years (a little goes a long way)... i have been using it for the last 8 years or so ...

great stuff that actually produces a deep shine along with fantastic longevity !!!

the product comes with a serial number for each can & corresponding certificate of authenticity... for whatever that's worth.

as for upkeep... i wax my cars every 3 months or so... and use the 'V07 - chem guys' enhancement detailer spray after every washing with micro-fiber towels... and clay once a year.

Smokin... I can barely look at the vehicle it is so hot. These types of threads simply need a like button. I actually use a super hydrophobic wax from meguirs on my vehicle and it lasts for 6 moths to a year. I have used other very expensive brands before including some that have several steps to them and are in the 150.00 range but i have found that meguirs if it doesnt have the same results to these others it is very similar and there is nothing like seeing the water dance off your car like it is a hot potatoe.

the main difference however that i found is not in the longevity but in the application. the meguirs brand wants to swirl easier however what i usually do to fix that is right after i get done waxing it i was the car again and dry it. in the dryin gprocess i use the detailer spray and voila. The paint feels like glass afterwards and stays that way for months.

this is jsut for those who want an alternative to the more expensive brands and to get a similar finish.

Awesome stuff!! Yes I have heard very good stuff about Zymol Products. A bit pricy of course, my Jorgens Carnuba Wax was around $70.00.

Between it and the Jet-Seal (Chemical Guys), I have never ever seen such a deep glossy finish on any of my vehicles. I would have left it with just the Jet-Seal, but was unsure of how long that would hold up?

So did the wax, which I am glad I did, it gave it a 3d effect, while protecting more. I too am using V07 as a detail spray, man that stuff is good, it works on all surfaces!! Have you tried their clay and clay lube, great effect, and man the smell is so nice.

Now as to longevity, I will just have to see how long the protection lasts, and keep you updated. I hope it lasts for more than a year!

How would a wax cause swirls?
Theres no abrasives in it.
Or do you mean that it doesnt remove easily and leftover residue needs to be worked to produce a smooth gloss?

Lately the combination Im in love with is a Menzerna Powerlock sealant topped with Collinite 845 (basically for longevity), applied by machine.
The carnuba in the collinite doesnt do much for the depth on a white car, but the amount of it that it has really produces a nice gloss and makes it hold up for a long time!

And in between waxing and sealants Ive been using Griots Garage Speed Shine. (switched from Meguiars Ultimate QD, which wasnt bad)
Im absolutely amazed at the shine a quick detail puts on the paint.
And its even better than Rain X on the windshield!

ahhh, no I am more towards Tampa. about an hour from Altamonte. However, we love Altamonte especially Cranes Roost, the park over the water. Our favorite place to exercise. If you see a Orion Silber Z4 fly by over there you'll know its us. Our f30 is really our commuter car so we dont usualy drive it on the weekends.

I guess swirling would be inaccurate i agree with you. I wouldnt call it residue either. I think that it is a build up of wax that has to be polished out. For instance if you polish your car with carnuba wax then run your finger acrossed it on a hot hot day you will see your finger print smudge. That is what i am talking about when i say swirl. No my car isnt hot when i wax it. It jsut take a lile time to get those smudges off to make it look like the OP aboves picture.
