If the car doesn't have any options then there's not a lot, if think the only two other essentials for mine are mirrors fold on unlock and active cruise control starts on closest distance.

I also disable drivers seatbelt warning, just for when I'm driving round supermarket car parks etc.

Probably a really stupid question and defo a newbie one but anyone know why when doing coding to fit the ProNav screen (only) on an HU_ENTRYNAV head unit it talks about "HU_NBT" and not "HU_ENTRYNAV"?

Also - if anyone has an easy guide for this it would be great if you could post a link (piecing together stuff from Interweb is a bit tedious at the moment).

NBT is pro media hu, Entrynav is Business media hu

So it's not that I use HU_ENTRYNAV because I have an HU_ENTRYNAV head unit, it's that I use HU_NBT because it's a ProNav screen and needs HU_NBT to enable it's use?

You don't have HU_NBT on your car so just substitute it with HU_ENTRYNAV

That's what I thought, it's just that I was looking at the thread below where he is coding for ENTRANAV but writes HU_NBT instead, that;s why I was confused.

Write modified FA to car if hardware and build date support option, and Dealer ISTA will not have programming issue with it. Car without EBT from factory lacks hardware (secondary microphone) so EBT option written to car can be a problem for ISTA.

I'm having issues with adding 6NS to my f48. I used VCM to write FA to car (like most tutorials). I ended up with a corrupted CAFD (CAFD_FFFFFFFF_255_255_255) when I code HU_ENTRYNAV. Could it be because I did the VCM step?

No. VCM have nothing to do with Corrupt CAFD.

Yes, another reason against writing FA to VCM for EBT.

Thanks for confirming this. I think a majority of people who VO code will do VCM anyway because of the many tutorials floating in the Internet.

I think my problem is that I have the new HU_ENTRYNAV2. Maybe 6NS can't be coded to it?

I don't know. HU_ENTRYNAV2 is too new. I have never even coded one.
