So... If anyone is seriously wanting some of these, I can assist. By PM only please. The MPerformance ones are a little more than the others... Still well under £200 a set though. I have prices for the F30/F31 (4-door) fitment. I'd have to check further for the 2-door coupe, sorry... 4 Series, if they're a different size/fitment. I haven't checked TBH.

Sorry in advance I know this is an old thread but I didn't know where else to post.
After seeing these for the first time it caught my eye and I began to research. Most the models I see and all the oem models(correct me please if I'm wrong) the light comes on and turns off normally. And what I mean by that is the rare videos I find that don't give you any info have scrolling or moving lights when door is opened. Can someone please shed some light on this subject And I would love to hear if anyone has successful installed the moving/scrolling door sills with correct fitment on f30 |

Amazed at how much these fluctuate in price, was looking at these only a month ago and there were offers on and around £120?! Need to hang on and see if they come down again....

Sorry for reviving this thread:
I'm having an issue with the Led door sills: The used to work fine however they are not working properly now. They Led is turning on when i place a magnetic field over them and not when i open the door. Could this be a battery issue? The issue is happening on both sills.

As you say could be weirdness associated to failing batteries, that's the next thing I'd try, they are only a couple of tablet ones IIRC so probably don't last massively long.

I have bought a set of illuminating sills that I want to fit on my 2012
F30. Would it be possible to tap off the interior light wiring Without causing issues. I've seen people tap off the footwell Lighting but I don't have them on my model. |

If they are LEDs then you should be OK tapping into existing courtesy light wiring.
